LayerRun Atlas Disclaimer
Formal disclosure detailing software operation terms, experimental parameters, hardware liability limits, and platform usage conditions.
Effective Date: 10/07/2026
This Disclaimer document governs your access to and interaction with the LayerRun Atlas software suite, toolpath optimization platforms, technical documentation, operational schemas, vector execution calculators, and associated web services (collectively referred to as the "Service"). By accessing, reviewing, or utilizing any component of the Service, you signify your acknowledgment, understanding, and unconditional acceptance of all terms, stipulations, and notifications detailed herein.
1. Technical Information and Operational Scope
The materials, numerical figures, material parameters, speed and power execution charts, focal calibrations, and layered vector configurations presented across the Service are curated strictly for informational, preliminary planning, and experimental guidance purposes. While LayerRun Atlas strives to supply accurate, current, and rigorously formulated algorithmic sequences, laser manufacturing environments exhibit wide variations based on hardware conditions, optical hygiene, lens degradation, gas assist rates, material batch tolerances, and ambient thermal conditions.
- Operational Testing: All execution layers, kerf offsets, and stepover values must be tested on scrap physical media before executing high-volume or critical production runs.
- Parameter Variability: Laser wattage ratings, tube age, beam delivery mirrors, and controller firmware versions may cause actual processing speeds and depths to deviate substantially from theoretical platform values.
- Equipment Integrity: You remain solely responsible for validating that numerical inputs sent to your CNC, galvanometer, or gantry laser systems comply with the mechanical thresholds established by your hardware manufacturer.
2. "As Is" and "As Available" Baseline Provision
The Service, including all simulation engines, downloadable run maps, material preset profiles, firmware bridges, and graphical layout tools, is delivered strictly on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" foundation without commitments of uninterrupted uptime or error-free rendering.
To the fullest extent permissible under applicable legal statutes, LayerRun Atlas expressly disclaims all warranties of any classification, whether express, statutory, implied, or arising through custom, trade usage, course of dealing, or performance. This comprehensive exclusion applies, without limitation, to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability, structural fitness for a specialized manufacturing application, and non-infringement of third-party intellectual properties.
- Any condition that calculations, cut path geometries, or nesting algorithms will operate without minor anomalies, unexpected head traversal collisions, or step-loss interruptions.
- Any assurance regarding the constant precision, completeness, operational security, or continuous availability of cloud-synchronized job maps and vector presets.
3. Limitation of Legal and Operational Liability
Under no legal framework, tort liability, strict liability, contract breach, or equitable principle shall LayerRun Atlas, its engineering affiliates, operational directors, licensors, or field contractors be held accountable to you or any third party for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or directly relating to your use, misuse, or inability to interact with the Service.
This protective limitation applies across all operational outcomes, including but not limited to:
- Physical destruction, thermal distortion, charring, flashover flare-ups, or unrecoverable material scrap losses during machine execution.
- Optical component failure, lens cracking, focal tube degradation, nozzle damage, or mechanical rail wear on user-operated hardware.
- Interruption of business operations, commercial factory downtime, unfulfilled order schedules, or administrative stoppage.
- Loss of proprietary CAD designs, corruption of local configuration files, or data transmission failures across network bridges.
Certain legal jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion or limitation of specific implied warranties or liability for incidental damages. In such jurisdictions, the aggregate liability of LayerRun Atlas shall be strictly limited to the lowest financial sum authorized by governing statutory law.
4. Workplace Safety and Fire Hazard Notice
Laser processing systems involve focused coherent electromagnetic radiation, high-voltage power components, combustive thermal reactions, assist gas pressure vessels, and hazardous particulate generation. LayerRun Atlas does not provide workplace safety certifications, environmental exhaust compliance monitoring, or hazard-free factory audits.
- Continuous Supervision: Laser equipment must never be operated unattended under any circumstances, regardless of automated run times calculated by our software.
- Extraction and Filtration: Users must ensure adequate air filtration, localized exhaust, and compliant removal of toxic fumes produced by processed synthetic polymers, adhesives, or treated hardwoods.
- Fire Suppression Protocols: Operable fire suppression gear and emergency stop routines must remain accessible at all times adjacent to machinery driven by exported toolpaths.
5. External Web Resources and Third-Party Implementations
The Service may feature external URLs, reference manuals, or software hooks pointing to third-party CNC controllers, peripheral sensors, open-source tool libraries, and material suppliers. Such references are integrated solely for user convenience. LayerRun Atlas maintains no active editorial control over external platforms, third-party plugin security, or merchant product specifications, and assumes no responsibility for external content, privacy protocols, or fulfillment terms.
6. Modifications, Revisions, and Inquiries
LayerRun Atlas reserves the unrestricted right to modify, revise, update, or substitute this Disclaimer at any juncture without prior individualized dispatch. Updated revisions take immediate effect upon publishing to this webpage, stamped with the updated effective date at the top of this document.
